Painting Contest
THIS MONTH'S THEME
August 2026: WILDCARD
Anything goes.
That model that's been sitting in your pile of potential for two years? Paint it.
That massive centrepiece you've been looking for an excuse to start? Paint it.
A squad? A tank? A dragon? A character? Something completely ridiculous?
PAINT. IT. 🎨🔥
August is all about painting whatever you fancy and getting another project out of that backlog!
Model Requirements:
- Maximum 10 models per entry.
- Any game system. Any faction. Any model. Big or small. Single miniature or group.
- Entries must be fully painted and fully based
- No scenic dioramas (simple basing is fine)

Pro Showcase
The goal of this space is simple: to give painters of exceptional skill their own dedicated area to showcase what they've been working on — without it feeling intimidating or overbearing for newer hobbyists entering the community competition.
This is not about separating the community.
It's about celebrating every level of the hobby properly 💚
- FREE to enter
- Dedicated display space in the cabinet
- Showcase-focused rather than prize-focused
- Staff spotlighted pieces
- Designed for advanced/display-level work
Whether it's a competition piece, a passion project, or something you're especially proud of — we want to see it.
CLOSING DATE:
6pm on Friday 28th August.
No late entries will be accepted.
Voting takes place on the following weekend. Entrants may vote, just not for themselves!
Just pick something you've been wanting to paint and get it done. 💪🎨
